Auto Interior Decorators specializes in automotive accessories and trim. We are located in Saginaw, Michigan and have been serving the area since 1968. Not only do we provide services for retail customers, but we also provide services for automotive dealers as well. Our quality products are competitively priced and our team of craftsmen compare to no other in their ability. We possess strong business ethics, prompt services and quality standards that keep our customers coming back for more.
History
Bill Charlton followed the traditional American entrepreneurial path and opened his first trim shop inside his mother’s garage in Saginaw. This was the beginning of Auto Interior Decorators. By 1968 Bill moved his business from his mother’s garage to a new location on East Genesee Street in downtown Saginaw. He remained at this location until 1978 when he expanded to Bay Road. At this time, Bill and his team only installed:
- Vinyl and Convertible Tops
- Seat Installation and Repair
- Carpet Installation and Repair
Expansions
When sunroofs became popular in 1988, Auto Interior Decorators quickly became sunroof installation experts.
Parking at their facility on Bay Road became cramped which prompted another expansion and relocation to their current location in Kochville Township.
As the internet gained in popularity along with online shopping, a virtual expansion was made. This evolution is still growing with quality products and services.
